Punchneedle Miniatures kit  from Karen Amadio Gates Folk Art Designs 
This kit was inspired by Rufus Porter style paintings. The muted colors of the overdyed threads give the Punchneedle design a vintage look resembling a hooked rug while the star border gives it a more contemporary Folk Art look. This would be a great beginner project. Finished needlework approximately 2.25" square. Kit includes pattern predrawn on muslin fabric, floss and complete instructions. You will need a one strand Russian type Punchneedle and 4" locking embroidery hoop (SB4)
